WHAT TO KNOW:

All orchestra members wear a uniform during performances and field trips. In the 2022-23 school year, the orchestras switched from uniforms purchased from vendors to concert black for High School and white tops and black bottoms for Middle School.

All students should wear black socks or stockings and black dress shoes. 

Middle School Orchestras

• White long-sleeved dress shirt or blouse
• Black slacks or long black skirt (for girls)
• Boys: Black bow-tie and black cummerbund

High School Orchestras

High School Orchestras wear concert black, which is traditionally: 

• Long-sleeved black dress shirt or blouse
• Black slacks or (for girls) knee-length or longer black skirt
• Girls also have the option of wearing a long-sleeved, knee-length or longer black dress 

Top 3 Problems to Avoid:

1. Not having black dress shoes or black socks/stockings
2. Not hemming pants/skirts properly
3. Not using a garment bag for trips and other concerts outside of the school
