Welcome Orchestra Families!! Whether new to the orchestra family, or returning, this is going to be a great year!!! We hope you will get involved with the Orchestra Boosters to support your musician and the entire orchestra program! Our focus is entirely on the orchestra student musicians!

There are a few things you can do to help make sure your student has a successful experience in the Lake Braddock Orchestras:

• Visit the Orchestra Rooms during Bruin Blast: On Thursday, August 17th, the orchestra rooms will be open from 10am-12noon for Middle School students and parents (Room P-136), and 1pm-3pm for High School students and parents (Room P-121). Meet our awesome orchestra directors and find out what awesome things they have planned for the coming year!!
• Back to School Party and Booster General Meeting: The first orchestra party and parent booster meeting will be held in the Lake Braddock cafeteria Wednesday, August 24^th, 6-8pm. All students and family members are welcome to attend for a night of fun. Parents—please join the orchestra directors, and booster executive board members and other volunteers, for a short “meet and greet” and question and answer period during the party!
• Join the Lake Braddock Orchestra Boosters: EVERY student musician benefits when you become a booster member!  Membership entitles you to vote at all booster membership meetings, guiding the program’s future, and opportunity to compete in scholarship programs.
• Volunteer Your Time: With nearly 350 students, enhancing the musical experience of your student musician and the orchestra program takes a lot of volunteer work. I guarantee you will not only have fun, but your contribution of time and energy will be meaningful, rewarding and appreciated!
• Attend the Concerts: The students work so hard and want you to hear the finished product during the many concerts being planned throughout the year. Please come and enjoy the music in the Lake Braddock Theater…and bring family and friends!
